The 3 rules of continuity

Match on Action: An action which is started in one shot, for example shot A but is completed in another shot, for example shot B! However it can also be where shot A is mirrored by an action in shot B!   Below is an example of match on action.....

Shot reverse shot: A film technique where one character is shown looking at another character, and then the other character is shown looking back at the first character in the action/scene. one person on screen at a time!

180 Degree rule: 180° rule is a basic guideline in film making that shows that two characters in  a scene should have the left/right relationship to each other.
                               Below is a an example of 180 degree rule....
